Federal Government makes finding and applying for Grants easier than ever

Today I am in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in the shadow of the Capitol Building.

The Federal Government has done away with downloadable, "dynamic" pdf's for the completion of online applications for programs, such as

  • Research & Development Tax Incentive,

  • Export Market Development Grants, and

  • Accelerating Commercialisation

This has now been replaced with a single online portal where these and other applications will be processed - Federal Government Grants Portal

In addition to a more streamlined approach to applying for funding and incentives, this new online portal will give you the option to invite an adviser or support person to access and support you in your application, making it much easier to review and submit these applications than sharing versions of pdf documents through email or online.

Similarly, the Queensland and other State Governments have their own portal for the same process, which can be used to lodge applications for such programs as;

  • Trade & Investment Queensland Export Grant

  • Business Basics Grant,

  • Business Boost Grant, and

  • Business Growth Grant (currently open for up to $50,000 to assist with purchasing equipment)

In order to apply for these grants, the first step is to book a Mentor for Growth session (I am a registered M4G consultant and can assist you with this process

These states also have their own portals to make it easy to find and lodge applications for funding;

It is important to be prepared for any funding opportunity when it arises, so we recommend setting up a profile on the portals relevant for you in advance of a particular funding opportunity being released, to be ready to lodge as soon as possible when the next round opens.

Reach out now to discuss preparing for and identifying the funding opportunities available for you and your business, and how to access and apply for funding to assist you with your growth goals -
